    Joan Kelly is well regarded in the world of mediation. Her website offers extensive resources about the process and parameters to prioritize the experience of the children.

    Eli Hartwell from Attachment Nerd is a wonderfully skilled therapist located right up the road in Boulder, CO who offers actionable insights as parents navigate the ever-changing landscape of raising children to become well adjusted members of society.

  • Therapy Modalities & Resources

    EMDR has been all the buzz in recent years. EMDR is a highly regarded and studied evidence based treatment modality often used to process past trauma and resource skills and coping strategies for present day. Beyond Trauma is a great pod-cast to add to your library.

    Somatic Experiencing taps in to the mind/body connection. Sometimes clients have a hard identifying sensations in their bodies. I put together a resource to help you learn more about how your body is responding to your environment. You can download a somatic cheatsheet here.

    Internal Family Systems is an evidenced based modality effective for exploring and treating trauma and breaking free from maladaptive cycles. Here is a well respected podcast exploring Internal Family Systems.

    Ellen Stater coined the term “DoR” or Division of Responsibility. The Ellen Satter Institute offers guidance and evidence based resources for feeding your family (and children and infants included) and feeding yourself.

When babies take their first step, they fall on their bottom… and we praise their first step, we don’t criticize the fall.
