Growth Never Felt So Safe
Can you relate?
Do you feel like life is happening to you, instead of for you?
Are you feeling scared about your future? The future?
Do you feel like you give more than you receive in your relationships?
Do you feel like you have to over explain? Is that frustrating?
Have you been asking yourself “what comes next?"
Are you feeling stuck in your career?
Is your relationship with food or exercise getting in your way?
Are you thinking about divorce?
Are you doing your best to co-parent with a difficult co-parent?
Are you a teen JUST. TRYING. TO. BE. UNDERSTOOD?
Does happiness feel out of reach?
Do you feel like “It’s me, hi, I’m the problem it’s me” was written for you?
Do you fear connection because it always leads to disappointment or loss?
Are you grieving the loss of a loved one?
So, how can you help me anyway?
I’m a Licensed Social Worker, mom (of kids and dogs), divorcee, co-parent & professional who’s worn many (MANY) hats.
I’ve been told my aura is inviting and people feel at ease sharing with me. After years working for the state government and safety net hospitals, I’m on a mission to help adolescents, high achievers, executives, moms & dads and overwhelmed with life folks find their path, thier joy & and their purpose.
OKAY, cool, but how?
I don’t have have a one-size fits all approach. Our sessions are collaborative, guided, deep, & occasionally uncomfortable (but I help you feel calm in discomfort).
If trauma is holding you back, if you startle easily, we can utilize EMDR.
If you can’t seem to focus, I am competent in treating ADHD.
If you freak out when you hear the news, we can explore grounding techniques.
If your stomach hurts, or you have frequent headaches, I bring in somatic experiencing.
If you’re scared of love, or if love has hurt you, attachment work comes into play.
What does Chai (pronounced “hi”), mean anyway?
Chai is the Hebrew word for “Life”. And while I do love a good chai tea (and happy to prepare one for you), I chose this word because I believe life is for living. When times get tough, I bring clarity and guidance to defining and achieving a life with purpose, growth, love and joy.
